The Telangana High Court today ordered the TSPSC to postpone the declaration of the results of the Group-1 preliminary exams until Monday.
Many candidates along with the NSUI had filed a petition in the High Court regarding the examination. In their petitions, they said that biometric identification was not included in the Group-1 preliminary examination.
In a hearing held on the issue today in the High Court, the petitioners told the court that the TSPSC was planning to declare the Group-1 results soon, and urged the court for a stay on the declaration of the results.
The AGP told the court that the Advocate General would present his arguments on the issue on Monday. The High Court then issued an oral order to the TSPSC not to declare the results of the Group-1 exams until the next hearing, and adjourned the case to Monday.
