Hearing On Jagan's Bail Plea Adjourned To Jan 22

The CBI requested for adjournment of hearing to January 18 or 21st due to the absence of senior lawyers. However, Jagan's lawyer objected to the CBI's request.

The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Friday adjourned the hearing to January 22 on the regular bail petition of YSR Congress president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in the disproportionate assets case.

When the matter came up for hearing on Friday, the CBI requested for adjournment of hearing to January 18 or 21st due to the absence of senior lawyers. However, Jagan's lawyer objected to the CBI's request.

Since the High Court has Pongal holidays from Saturday, the court adjourned the next hearing on the bail petition to January 22.

Jagan had filed the petition in the High Court after the CBI Special Court rejected his bail plea. (INN)
