During the discussion, Harish Rao dealt at length on major, medium and minor projects, and directed them to supply waters to the tail-end farmers.
The minister discussed on 15 major, 36 medium level projects and also on water availability and ayacut for Rabi. The TRS government was allocating adequate funds for the completion of the projects, he said.
The Kaleshwaram, Palamur - Ranga Reddy and Dindi projects should be completed on time so as to increase the agricultural yield this season, Rao said.
Due to the abundance of water in lakes and ponds due to recent heavy rains, maximum yield of Rabi crops was possible, he said.
He asked the chief engineers to coordinate with revenue and agricultural departments and ensure the completion of all ongoing projects by 2017.
