Telangana Minister for Finance T Harish Rao today launched a blistering attack on Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan for "obstructing the development of Telangana by holding Bills without giving her assent", and alleged that the Governor was deliberately creating troubles for the State government and was working as per the direction of the BJP.
Addressing the BRS party's constituency-level meeting at Gajwel in Siddipet district on Tuesday, Rao said that the BJP government at the Centre had hatched a political conspiracy against the BRS government and was creating troubles for it by using various institutions to obstruct its attempts to grow Telangana.
"The BRS government has decided to set up a forest university in Gajwel and has passed the Bill in this regard in the Assembly. But due to obstruction of the Bill by the Governor the State government is not able to take up the project, and the university still remains a dream," Rao lamented.
The minister said that as long as the Governor worked as per the instructions of the BJP leaders and stalled the progress of Telangana, he would continue to question her and expose her "misdeeds" in public.
