Former minister Harish Rao today slammed Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who had announced in the Assembly that his government would not allow benefit shows and movie ticket price hikes following the death of a woman in the Sandhya theatre stampede, for retracting from his statement and allowing ticket price hikes and benefit shows for
Game Changer.
He said that even minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy had made the same announcement in the same Assembly, and that the words of the CM and the minister turned akin to bubbles of water in just two weeks.
"Who was this decision taken to benefit?" Rao asked.
He also asked the CM what value his statements would have in the Assembly hereon.
Rao added that misleading the Assembly was an insult to the august body, and said that a privilege motion would be moved by the BRS against the Chief Minister and the minister for that.
