Telangana Finance Minister T Harish Rao today inaugurated a regional training centre of the Dr Marri Channa Reddy Human Resource Development Institute, which trains civil servants and government officials of the state, at the Siddipet Degree College.
Speaking on the occasion, the minster explained that the facility had been opened to train the staff in charge of executing the many welfare schemes that had been launched by the state government, in an efficient and effective fashion.
"The Telangana government has launched several development and welfare schemes for the people of the state. This training centre has been opened so that the government officials responsible for implementing the same can be trained to do so effectively. I believe that the centre will be able to equip the officials with the skills that they require to cater to the needs of the people. I also hope that it will be able to provide support and training to any new government officials needing the same," he added.
Rao then instructed the centre's officials to coach the trainers well in order to help them skill all trainees to become able public officials.
