The first flight of Haj pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh will take off at 8:25pm, on September 25.
According to the second phase of the flight Schedule released by the Haj Committee of India, there will be 25 flights, and the last flight will take off at 4:25pm on October 9.
SHC chairman Syed Khaleeluddin Ahmed said that this year too, the Saudi Arabian Airlines would carry all Haj pilgrims from the Hyderabad Embarkation Point.
Apart from the pilgrims of the state, pilgrims from 5 districts of Karnataka - Bidar, Gulbarga, Udgir, Raichur and Kuppal - will also leave from the Hyderabad Embarkation Point.
The individual flight program will be intimated to the pilgrims concerned, 10 days prior to their flight, by post and by SMS.
Travellers can also find out their flight program on the website of the Haj Committee of India (www.hajcommittee.com), or from the office of the AP State Haj Committee (at Haj House, Nampally, Hyderabad) after September 20.
Out of the 25 flights, 19 have a capacity of 300 each, four flights 265 each, and two flights 450 each.
Pilgrims will start returning to Hyderabad after Haj, from October 31. The last flight will arrive on November 11. (INN)
