Guidelines For Free 2-Bedroom Houses Announced

The Telangana government today announced the guidelines for the construction of double-bedroom houses for the poor in the State.

In an order, the government stated that it would construct two lakh houses this financial year.

It was decided to spend Rs 5.04 lakhs per unit in the villages, Rs 5.30 lakhs per unit in towns and Rs 7 lakhs per unit in Hyderabad.

The government is constructing these houses free of cost by giving subsidy on the total amount spent on each unit.
