Differences between former Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari and TRS MLA Thatikonda Rajaiah came to fore once again in Station Ghanpur, with both the leaders accusing each other openly.
Speaking at a program in Pedda Pendyala village of Chilpur mandal in Jangam district on Tuesday, Rajaiah made sensational comments on Srihari, alleging that the latter had caused the deaths of 361 Naxalites belonging to the Station Ghanpur Assembly constituency when he was a minister in combined Andhra Pradesh.
The TRS MLA said that he considered CM K Chandrashekar Rao as God, and that with his blessings, the Station Ghanpur constituency was being developed on all fronts. The constituency would forever remain his adda (base), and he would not allow the entry of others for political activities into the constituency, he added.
Srihari came down heavily on Rajaiah for levelling "baseless allegations" against him, and demanded that the MLA tender an unconditional apology to the people for his derogatory remarks.
Srihari said that he would bring the matter to the notice of the party chief, and would ask for stringent action against Rajaiah.
