Governor Seeks Time To Give Assent To TSRTC Draft Bill

Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan said that that she had received the draft Bill from the State government only on August 2.

Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan has sought some more time to give her assent to the draft of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (Absorption of Employees into Government Service) Bill, 2023.

In a press communique issued by the Raj Bhavan today, the Governor said that that she had received the draft Bill from the State government requesting permission to introduce it in the Assembly only on August 2.

She said that that it would require some more time to examine the draft and obtain legal opinion to take a decision on it.
