Governor E S L Narasimhan on Saturday reportedly expressed his unhappiness over the behaviour of the police personnel of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on Friday at the Nagarjuna Sagar dam.
The Governor reportedly pulled up Directors General of Police Anurag Sharma (TS) and J V Ramudu (AP) for mishandling the situation at the Nagarjuna Sagar dam on Friday.
He asked them to seek reports from the concerned IGs to ascertain who directed the police personnel to behave in such a manner.
It may be mentioned that the policemen of the two states almost came to blows when the AP officials were prevented from releasing water from the reservoir to the Krishna delta.
Narasimhan also directed them to ensure that such incidents did not recur. (INN)
