Hyderabad | 28th June 2023
Expressing concern over the "dilapidated" condition of the Osmania General Hospital (OGH), Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has asked the State government to acknowledge and honour its previous commitment to re-construct the hospital.

Soundararajan today extended her support for the demand for constructing new buildings for the OGH, and asked the government to fulfil its earlier promise immediately.

Taking to Twitter, the Governor said, "Concerned to see the dilapidated condition of the century old prestigious Osmania General Hospital. Pride of this citadel of learning & healing must be restored soon (sic)."

Soundararajan conveyed her message on the Twitter account "Justice for OGH", and retweeted Justice for OGH's tweet on the social media.

The Governor also attached an image of a letter by a Joint Association For New OGH demanding the reconstruction of the hospital.
