The State government on Thursday showered a plethora of sops on the Munugodu Assembly constituency in Nalgonda district that it just won in a by-election.
Minister for IT and Industries K T Rama Rao along with ministers G Jagadish Reddy, Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Sathyavathi Rathod and Errabelli Dayakar Rao; MLAs; MLCs; Nalgonda district Collector T Vinay Krishna Reddy and Yadadri-Bhongir district Collector Pamela Sathpathi; and senior officials from various departments held a detailed review meeting on the constituency and also discussed the implementation of welfare schemes and development programs in the erstwhile Nalgonda district.
Speaking on the occasion, minister K T Rama Rao said that the State government had decided to sanction a 100-bed hospital and a toy park at Dandu Malkapur village in the constituency.
Apart from this, roads with an estimated cost of Rs 100 crore under the supervision of the Roads and Buildings department will be expanded, while Rs 170 crore will be spent through the Panchayat Raj department in the constituency in the next six months.
In addition, Rs 30 crore for the Chandur municipality and Rs 80 crore for the Choutuppal municipality, and five 33/11 sub-stations, had been sanctioned to the constituency, KTR said.
He reiterated that the TRS government would stick to its words made during the recent Munugodu by-election, and would fulfill all promises.
