Government Has Given Up On Double Bedroom Houses: Congress

The Telangana Congress alleged that the TRS government had given up on its promise of double bedroom houses for all the eligible people of the state.
Hyderabad | 1st October 2020
CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka today alleged that the TRS-led state government which had promised to build double bedroom houses for all the eligible people of the state had given up on its promise.

He made these remarks after visiting the under-construction double bedroom houses at Khammam town.

Speaking on the occasion, Vikramarka alleged that the state government which had promised to build 2,000 houses per annum in Khammam had failed to keep its promise.

He said that Khammam town should have 14,000 double bedroom houses by now as per the election promises of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and minister K T Rama Rao, but that the government had given out only 417 houses so far.

He said that to put the number in context, the applications received by the state government from just some divisions of the town had crossed 15,000.

Former MLC of the party Potla Nageswar Rao, DCC president Puvvalla Durga Prasad, City Congress president Mohammad Javed and town working president Deepak choudary also took part in the program.
