Telangana ministers S Niranjan Reddy and Srinivas Goud today said that state government was committed to providing employment opportunities to the eligible youth of the state.
Speaking after participating in a series of development programs in Nagarkurnool district, they urged the people not to get swayed by the "lies" of the Opposition, and assured the job-seekers of the state that the notifications to fill 70,000 government job vacancies would be released in February 2021.
"The TRS government is working towards filling the vacant posts in all the government departments. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has already instructed the concerned officials to take the necessary steps to fill the vacancies at the earliest," the ministers said.
They also said that the government had already recruited as many as 1.7 lakh people for various jobs so far.
They added that about 7 lakh youth had found jobs in the IT and other related sectors as well.
Reddy and Goud also said that the Chief Minister was working towards implementing the 11th Pay Revision Commission's recommendations at the earliest, which would lead to a hike in the salaries of all the government employees of the state.
