GHMC Outsourced Employees Continue Hunger Strike

As many as 50 outsourced employees launched the relay hunger strike demanding an increase in the wages and also with other demands.

The relay hunger strike of outsourced employees, of all wings, of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation entered day 7 on Sunday.

The strike continued despite Sunday being a national holiday on account of Republic Day.

As many as 50 outsourced employees launched the relay hunger strike demanding an increase in the wages and also with other demands.

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Employees Union president U Gopal said that the relay hunger strike would not be withdrawn till all the demands are met by the GHMC management. (INN)
