GHMC Celebrates Allocation Of Rs 3,065 Crore By Government
The GHMC Mayor, Deputy Mayor and corporators celebrated the huge allocation in an event today.

The GHMC has been allocated Rs 3,065 crore in the State budget presented yesterday. And the GHMC Mayor, Deputy Mayor and corporators celebrated the allocation in an event today.
Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, Deputy Mayor Srilatha Sobhan Reddy and several corporators participated in the event and thanked Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, and burst crackers and distributed sweets to express their happiness.
Speaking on the occasion, Vijayalakshmi said, "I am happy that Rs 10,000 crore has been allocated for the development of Hyderabad in the State budget. In particular, the GHMC has been given Rs 3,065 crore. Special thanks to the Chief Minister for allocating Rs 3,065 crore to us and Rs 3,385 crore for the water board. With the allocation of such a huge amount, we hope that the drinking water and drainage problems in the city will be solved," she said.
She also said that the State government had given special attention to creating infrastructure in the city to keep pace with the growing population. "The Metro rail expansion, Musi development, expansion of GHMC up to the Outer Ring Road and HYDRA installation will be very useful for the development of the city," she said.
