G Venkataswamy (Kaka) Hospitalised
Congress leader G Venkataswamy, also known as Kaka, was hospitalised on Friday after he complained of respiratory problems and high BP, and his condition was termed 'critical'.
Congress leader G Venkataswamy, also known as Kaka, was admitted to the Yashoda Hospital in Somajiguda late Friday evening, after he complained of respiratory problems and high Blood Pressure (BP).
A team of 6 doctors are treating the Congress leader whose health condition was a major cause of concern when he was brought to the hospital. His BP, blood sugar levels and heart beat were all too high, and it reportedly took a lot of effort on the part of the doctors to bring the parameters to acceptable levels.
Speaking at a press meet, the doctors treating G Venkataswamy at the hospital stated that he was hooked to a ventilator, and that his health condition is critical. They explained that they could not confidently comment on the situation of the leader unless he was observed for another 24 hours at least.
Kaka's BP was 200/100 at the time of his arrival at the hospital. His blood sugar level was brought under control with the consistent administration of insulin.
Gaddar and T G Venkatesh are among the political leaders who paid a visit to the ailing Congress leader at the Yashoda Hospital.
