A 4-member committee has been set up to probe the collapse of the Gopuram at the Srikalahasteshwara temple in Srikalahasti on May 26 in which one person was killed.

Announcing the constitution of the committee, the state government said that it will have to submit its report by June 30 this year. The government has named Endowments CE, R Jaganmohan, as the panel's Member-Convenor, and S Narasimha Rao (retired professor, IIT Chennai), A Meher Prasad (professor, IIT Chennai) and CVR Murthy (professor, IIT Hyderabad) as its members.
