President Droupadi Murmu Arrives In Hyderabad
The President inaugurated in the Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav 2025 and later offered prayers at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumala.

President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Hyderabad this afternoon for a two-day visit, during which she participated in the Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav 2025 and later offered prayers at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumala.
The President was accorded a warm welcome at the Begumpet airport by Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Verma, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Union Minister Kishan Reddy, State Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, DGP Shivdhar Reddy and other senior officials. She was then escorted to Raj Bhavan, where the Governor received her with due honours.
Her visit marked the commencement of the Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav at Rashtrapati Nilayam, Secunderabad. This year's Mahotsav highlights the art, culture, craft, literature and cuisine of western India, featuring Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Goa, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
Earlier in the day, Murmu visited the Sri Varaha Swamy temple before offering prayers at the Tirumala shrine. She was accorded the traditional Isthikaphal welcome by temple priests and received by TTD Chairman B R Naidu, EO A K Singhal and Additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary. Andhra Pradesh Endowments Minister Anam Ramnarayan Reddy accompanied her during the darshan.
After praying in the sanctum sanctorum, she received a Sesha Vastram, followed by Vedasirvachanams at the Ranganayakula Mandapam, and was presented with Theertha Prasadam, a portrait of the deity, and TTD's 2026 calendars and diaries.
Several officials and TTD board members were present during her temple visit.
The President is scheduled to proceed to Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, on November 22.
