Mystery surrounds the kidnapping of four beggars, two of them women, sleeping on the roadside in L B Nagar in the early hours today.
The four beggars were stated to be sleeping near the Hanuman temple in L B Nagar when some unidentified persons came in a van, forcibly dragged them into the vehicle and sped away. Other beggars sleeping nearby, on hearing the commotion, immediately lodged a complaint with the police.
