Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu directed officials to keep him updated on the flood alert sounded in the coastal districts of the State.
Amid flood predictions made for the coastal districts, the Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure that people were safe, and if required, evacuated from areas where there might be damage due to floods.
He has also reviewed the rehabilitation measures for the people evacuated.
The CM also directed ministers from the region to coordinate with all departments and ensure that rescue and relief measures were extended to all affected people. (INN)
