Five Year Old Boy Dies Of 70% Burns In Accident
The 5-year-old studying at a government school in Nalgonda died after falling into a vessel of boiling curry during the mid-day meal.

In a tragic incident, a five-year-old boy studying at a government school in the Nalgonda district of Telangana died on Saturday after falling into a vessel of boiling curry which was being prepared under the mid-day meal scheme, the local police said.
The freak accident occurred when the boy, a student of grade-one, was standing in the queue along with other students for the meal. A few students in the queue started pushing each other, and the 5-year-old boy fell into the vessel, the police said.
As per cops, the boy died, who suffered 70% burns, was taken to a government hospital in Nalgonda initially and later shifted to a hospital in Hyderabad where he succumbed to the injuries.
The grandfather of the deceased child lodged a complaint after which a case of negligence was filed against three women cooks with Kattangoor PS. The Principal of the school was also suspended and the probe has been launched.
Later, the District Collector visited the village and announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakhs, a government job and a house to the nearest kin of the boy.
