Hyderabad witnessed another fire accident, this time in Begumbazar Chatri this evening, aggravated by the blazing heat rampaging in the city.
The fire, ignited by a short-circuit, spread throughout the building quickly. The fire department was swift in its action, fighting the flames with hosepipes and tankers. It was also aided by the locals to access hard-to-reach places. Although no casualties were reported, material worth lakhs of rupees was estimated to be burnt in the flames.
