Vijaya Oil Mill, located at RTC X roads, turned into a blazing ball of fire as a fire mishap threatened to consume it today.
The mill, which stores vegetable oil sunflower oil and other edible oil, burnt away in high flames. The fire department reached there quickly, though.
Thankfully, no injuries or deaths have been reported, although around 150 tonnes of oil was burnt into ashes, resulting in a loss worth Rs. 30 lakhs.
Major fire accidents have occured in Hyderabad over the last few of months, the most recent being
the one at Park Hospital in Somajiguda in February.
