Some 70 days after he took oath as Chief Minister and inducted just one minister (Mahmood Ali as Home Minister), Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has finally released a list of another 10 MLAs who will be made ministers, taking the size of the cabinet to 12 (the maximum size is 18).
KCR will allot them portfolios after the swearing in at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday at 11:30 am.
The CM plans to expand the cabinet further after the upcoming Lok Sabha elections (scheduled to be held in April).
According to informed sources, the Chief Minister has decided to add the following 10 MLAs to his cabinet:
Errabelli Dayakar Rao V Srinivas Goud Koppula Eshwar S Niranjan Reddy Ch Malla Reddy V Prashant Reddy Jagadish Reddy Indrakaran Reddy Etala Rajender Talasani Srinivas Yadav
The first six above are first time ministers, and the last four were members of the previous cabinet, too.
Interestingly, neither KCR's son K T Rama Rao nor KCR's nephew T Harish Rao found themselves in the cabinet. While KTR is still the TRS Working President, Harish Rao's omission is notable.
And no, there is still no female minister in KCR's cabinet.
