Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today directed his ministers and officials to complete Mission Bhagiratha works on a war-footing.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today directed his ministers and officials to complete Mission Bhagiratha works on a war-footing.

The scheme should be completed before the deadline, he ordered.

The government was spending a whopping Rs. 40,000 crore on the project, KCR said.

The water scheme is the Telangana government's brainchild aimed at supplying potable waters to rural areas. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched it at Komatibanda in Medak district in August last.
