PM To Launch Mission Bhagiratha On August 7
PM Narendra Modi will be making his first official visit to Telangana on August 7 to formally launch the TRS government's flagship Mission Bhagiratha.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be making his first official visit to Telangana on August 7 to formally launch the TRS government's flagship Mission Bhagiratha at Gajwel in the Medak district.
The PM will also participate in various other developmental programs.
The Prime Minister's Office, in response to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's invitation during the latter's recent New Delhi visit, confirmed Modi's tour to the State, and asked the Telangana government to make arrangements.
In his first stop at Gajwel, the Prime Minister will unveil a new logo for Mission Bhagiratha, under which 64,000 houses and 243 habitats will get potable water.
Though it has not been officially announced, Modi is also to launch Mission Kakatiya, and lay the foundation for the Textile Park, Kaloji University and a 4,000 MW thermal power plant in the Karimnagar district.
As per the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, the Centre needs to construct power plants producing 6,000 MW of power in Telangana. It has already approved a 1,600 MW plant in the first phase at Ramagundam.
