Erkoor Mandal Tahsildar Arrested By ACB Officials
Shaik Mohammed Shah Khasim, Tahsildar of the Erkoor mandal of Khammam district, was caught by ACB officials accepting a bribe of Rs 3,000.

Shaik Mohammed Shah Khasim, Tahsildar of the Erkoor mandal of Khammam district, was caught by ACB officials on Thursday evening when he demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs 3,000 from a complainant named Banoth Ramakrishna.
According to ACB officials, on June 8 at about 4 pm, Khasim allegedly took the bribe from Ramakrishna of Badru Thanda of the same mandal for doing an official favour - registering a partition deed pertaining to land belonging to Banoth Bojja, the mother of the complainant, measuring 0.24 guntas in Survey No 136/AA/3/1 of Nacharam village of the mandal.
The fingers of the left hand of the accused officer tested positive in the chemical test, and the bribe amount was recovered from his possession.
Khasim was arrested and produced before the First Additional Special Judge for SPE & ACB Cases, Hyderabad.
