Warangal MP S Rajaiah, on Saturday, stated that there was no alternative to end the uncertainty in the state except the formation of a Telangana state.
Talking to media persons after emerging out of a meeting with chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy at his camp office, Rajaiah said that all problems in the state would be addressed through the formation of a Telangana state.
He said that even though several leaders from the Congress have been proposing a Rayala-Telangana for a long time, these are their personal ideas, and added the the party has nothing to do with them.
Rajaiah expressed confidence that the high command would soon honour the promise of a separate state made to the region's people.
Responding to questions about the possible change in leadership in AP, the MP said that the leadership issue is not related to the Telangana issue.
"The change in leadership issue will not benefit Telangana people, and had nothing to do with us," he stated. (INN)
