Eetela Backs T-Congress Leaders

The time to 'urge' the government to lift the police cases has gone now, and it is time now to 'demand' the lifting of cases, says Eetela.
Hyderabad | 27th December 2010
Telangana Rashtra Samithi Member of Legislative Assembly Eetela Rajender on Monday advised Telangana Congress leaders to issue an ultimatum to their party high command that it should lift the cases against pro-Telangana students failing which they would resign from their posts.

Talking to media persons Eetela stated that the time to 'urge' the government to lift the police cases has gone now, and it is time now to 'demand' the lifting of cases.

He expressed his satisfaction that the Congress leaders from Telangana had, at least, realized the sacrifices made by the students for the sake of a separate state. He said that he was 'happy' with the Congress leaders' attempts to build pressure on the government and get the police cases lifted.

The TRS MLA said that the need of the hour was for all factions fighting for the separate state to unite and build pressure on the government so that it bows down to their demands.
