A large number of fans of Telugu film actor Nandamuri Balakrishna on Thursday turned up at the
Kotla Vijaybhaskar Reddy Stadium to greet him and take part in his birthday celebrations.
Joining the large numbers of fans were Balayya's family including brother-in-law and Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, and members of the Telugu film fraternity.
The popular film actor's fans sang birthday wishes as Chandrababu Naidu, Daggubati Venkateshwara Rao and Dasari Narayana Rao extended their greetings to him.
The celebrations for the fans doubled as Balakrishna's new film 'Parama Veera Chakra', directed by Dasari Narayana Rao, was also launched on Thursday.
Ecstatic fans said that it was after a long time that Balayya had spent time with them, and some of them requested that they should be addressed as the film actor's extended family.
Speaking to mediapersons, Balakrishna said that no amount of money on earth can buy the love and affection which his fans bestow on him. He told his fans that he held them in more esteem that any award, and added that they were his reward.
