The state-wide Engineering Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test conducted by JNTU Hyderabad on behalf of APSCHE is being held this year on 30 May. Arrangements to organize the mammoth entrance exam across the state have been completed, in the wake of the logistical nightmares that it imherently presents.
Students have been asked to report to their respective centres - whose addresses have been sent to their mobile phones by SMS - an hour in advance. Part A of the answer sheet will have to filled in pen, and part B, the OMR section, by pencil. HB pencils will be supplied free of cost inside the examination hall. The OMR data cards will have to be returned at the end of the examination, and any student who doesn't return it will have to face criminal charges.
The preliminary key of EAMCET will be released on 5 June, while the results will be announced between 15 June and 20 June, the EAMCET chairman D N Reddy said.
The chairman also said that in the wake of the sudden spurt in Telangana-related violence, security arrangements for the smooth completion of the exam have been tightened, in collaboration with the DGP Girish Kumar.
