Secondary Education Minister K Parthasarathi on Tuesday assured that the process of filling up posts with the District Selection Committee (DSC -2012) candidates will be completed in a month.
Talking to reporters here, the minister admitted that the release of the merit list for DSC-2012 has been delayed due to technical reasons. He said there were some technical glitches in extracting the information of the candidates of Teachers' Eligibility Test (TET). However, he said that the final merit list of the DSC was being prepared calculating the marks secured by candidates in the DSC Written Test and TET.
Parthasarathi also assured that the DSC counseling would be conducted as per schedule which would be announced soon.
It may be mentioned that the DSC - 2012 and Model Schools Recruitment results were announced on October 7. The State Government proposes to recruit 6,007 School Assistants, 2,144 Language Pandits, 12,772 SGTs and 409 Physical Education Teachers for which tests were held. The results of TET were announced on June 30 and 27,414 candidates have qualified for the same. (INN)
