Dokka To Abide By Congress Call On T

Dokka reiterates that he is in favour of a united AP, but that he would abide by the decision taken by the High Command on the issue.

State Minister Dokka Manikya Varaprasad on Sunday said that he would abide by the decision of the Congress High Command on the Telangana issue.

Speaking to media persons after participating in a function related to NGNREGS schemes at Kalwakurthy in Mahabubnagar, Dokka reiterated that he is in favour of a united Andhra Pradesh. However, he said that as a loyal Congress worker, he would abide by the decision taken by the High Command on the issue.

The minister said that the NREGS has helped lakhs of rural poor and unemployed. He said that the Centre and the state governments have undertaken several measures to help the poor and eradicate unemployment from the state. (INN)
