Poet Gummadi Vittal Rao (Gaddar) today slammed the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments for killing maoists on the Andhra-Odisha Border zone, and demanded that the Chief Ministers of both States explain their motives behind the "fake encounter".
Gaddar paid tributes to Prabhakar alias Gangadhar, one of the 24 maoists killed in the encounter, at his native place Yapral in the city. After working with Praja Kala Mandali as a cultural artiste for several years, Prabhakar went underground three years ago to work for the organization as a full-timer.
His wife brought the body from the Malkangiri district in Odisha. Maoist bigwig Ramakrishna's son Akkiraju Pruthvi alias Munna's body was also brought by his family to Alakurapadu in the Prakasam district.
RK's wife Sirisha said that she was proud of her son's sacrifice for the downtrodden and the oppressed. She said that the encounter was a cold-blooded murder and added that as long as there were problems in the society, revolutionaries would continue to fight for the people.
Most of the bodies of the 24 slain Maoists' remain unclaimed.
A demented idiot asking government why it killed armed rebels and it's news?? Gaddars songs are good for booze parties and his philosophy a joke. Unfortunately what he is talking is not joke. It's treason. Not dissent.
