Differences Being Created Among STs: MP At Lambada Meet

Mahbubabad MP Azmeera Seetaram Naik of the TRS alleged that some people were creating differences among the various Scheduled Tribes for their political ends.

Addressing the Lambadas' public meeting at the Saroornagar stadium on Wednesday, Naik slammed people who called the the Lambadas migrants though they were here since 1975.

The MP alleged that one or two percent of the people were dictating 50 percent of the people. He claimed that the Lambadas were 25 lakhs in number and had the strength to ensure the victory of 60 MLAs, and said that they would not keep quiet if their rights were violated. He expressed concern that reservations were facing threat in the country, and said that the community would wage a movement against the anti-Lambada reservations.
