The state government has appointed a 2-member committee to examine the demands of paramedical staff and submit a report within a week.
The Director Of Medical Education and Director Of Health will form the panel.
The government is expected to discuss the issue with the officials concerned including the finance department, and arrive at a proper decision.
Talking to media persons at the Secretariat on Saturday, Health Minister Danam Nagender stated that Chief Minister K Rosaiah had expressed his concern over the situation of the staff working on contract, and asked the minister to take a sympathetic decision.
Nagender informed that the government had identified their services and had resolved to provide justice.
"There are a few categories and branches, it is therefore necessary to see how and where the staff fit. We have certain parameters and guidelines," Nagender said, and added that the government would follow a frame work to work out a method to do the needful.
The minister allayed the fears expressed by a representation led by BJP leader G Kishen Reddy and said that there was no need to panic.
Nagender clarified that the services of the paramedics have been recognised. There were over 10,000 persons working on contract basis for over 10 years, and justice would be done, he said.
The paramedical staff have already halted their stir on the minister's assurance earlier. In this regard, the minister stated that the government would not succumb to the pressure tactics, and would settle the issue without haste to avert any legal complication.
In all, 1592 posts have been notified. There were about 200 nurses working in the MGM Hospital, Warangal, on contract basis.
Medical Education Minister P Sudharshan Reddy, Special Chief Secretary A Satyanarayana and Principal Health Secretary PV Ramesh were also present.
