Cyclone Hudhud Death Toll Mounts To 21
While 15 deaths have been reported from Visakhapatnam, five people were killed in Vizianagaram, and 1 person died in the Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh.

As many as 21 deaths have been reported from three of the four districts struck by Cyclone Hudhud, till 6 pm on Monday.
While 15 deaths have been reported from Visakhapatnam, five people were killed in Vizianagaram, and 1 person died in the Srikakulam district.
No loss of human life has been reported from the East Godavari district.
As many as 2,48,004 people got affected in 320 villages of 44 mandals in four districts.
Authorities have set up 223 relief camps to which 1,35,262 people have been shifted.
A total of 223 medical camps have also been set up.
Currently, 24 NDRF teams, 4 Army/Navy teams, 691 swimmers and 56 boats have been deployed in the affected areas.
A total of 6,695 houses, 109 rail/roads, 5,727 electric poles/transformers, 19 tank/canals, 395 public properties and 73 drinking water resources have been damaged, as per preliminary estimates.
As many as 1,798 animals were also killed due to the cyclone.
The authorities have so far rescued 146 persons. (INN)
