Cyberabad Cops Bust Ganja Trafficking Racket
Five inter-State drug peddlers of Odisha and Karnataka were arrested, and 803 kg of dry ganja seized from their possession.

The Cyberabad police today busted a racket involving the trafficking of the banned marijuana (alias ganja) from Odisha to Maharashtra via Telangana, and nabbed five inter-State drug peddlers of Odisha & Karnataka and seized 803 kg of dry ganja, a DCM container with chemical drums, a 4-wheeler (worth Rs 2,94,75,000 cumulatively) from their possession.
The arrested persons were identified as Somanatha Khara, Harade Sanjeev Vittal Reddy, Jaga Suna, Sanjeev Kumar Hollappa Okare and Sunil Khosla.
Ramu of Dumbriguda, Araku, the main supplier, and another accomplice Suresh Maruthi Patil of Dattanagar Talwali, Navi Mumbai (the receiver and main peddler) are absconding.
The police apprehended then when the accused reached the Pedda Golconda ORR junction.
The teams worked under the supervision of D Srinivas, DCP SOT, Cyberabad. The TGANB also supported the operation.
