CPI vs. TRS: Why Is CPI Supporting TDP?

The war of words between CPI and TRS threatens to get out of hand even as rumours float around of them working together during the upcoming elections, and it seems that CPI's friendship with TDP is the bone of contention.

While CPI state secretary K Narayana claims friendship with both Chandrababu Naidu and KCR, TRS activists have been booing down Naidu for not having asserted his "support" of Telangana when it had been required.

Said T Harish Rao on Naidu's padayatra in Warangal, "Lies are not new to Chandrababu Naidu. He is used to spreading lies and spewing venom just to get people's attention. His padayatra has no support, and he is clamoring for attention and support."

"If he is so starightforward, why did he join with us and then take back his support? He is the kind who will sell out to corporations to get cash for his party," railed Rao going on to condemn CPI for its friendship with TDP.
