The EOW police of Cyberabad arrested two persons, Paladugu Raghuram and Paladugu Sunitha of Madhapur, who were allegedly cheated a Chatla Sanjeev Kumar of Madhapur of Rs 3.25 crore promising admission to UG courses in Stanford University.
The police said that Raghuram was already involved in another cheating case registered in the Kukatpally Police Station.
The police said that Raghuram and his wife Sunitha offered to help Kumar's son get admission into an under-graduate course in Stanford University. In order to cheat Kumar, the couple created fabricated fake admission documents of the university and collected Rs 3.25 crore from him.
