Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today said that the Congress would not get even 10 seats in the next Assembly elections as the TRS was set to sweep them.
Addressing a press conference after holding a TRS MPs' meeting at Pragathi Bhavan, KCR said that the BJP, too, would lose whatever seats it currently had. It was in fact a joke that the BJP thought that it even existed in the state, after its capacity was on full display in the GHMC elections, he scoffed.
According to a survey the TRS would sweep the next elections, the Congress would not get even 10 seats, and the BJP would lose even its existing seats and draw a blank, KCR said.
He ridiculed TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy for making baseless charges against him. The people were fed up with the Congress and the BJP, and vote for the TRS for welfare and development, he claimed.
He also said that the TRS MPs would raise their voices in Parliament during the budget session, on the state's issues.
