"Cong Wants Seats Through Telangana"

The Congress hopes to win 50 Lok Sabha seats from regions that are demanding statehood, says Sabbam Hari.

Anakapalli MP Sabbam Hari on Sunday accused the Congress party of taking a decision in favour of Telangana with an eye on winning more Lok Sabha seats.

Participating in the "Meet The Press program" organised by the AP Journalists Forum, Sabbam Hari said that the party was trying to capatalise the demand for smaller states across the country by giving statehood to Telangana. He said that the party hopes to win 50 Lok Sabha seats from regions that are demanding statehood.

Sabbam Hari also claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party was looking at its own benefit in the Telangana region by supporting the statehood demand. (INN)
