Congress To Rally Against Note Ban In Hyderabad

Former Minister Danam Nagender announced that the Telangana Congress would organize the rally from on January 5.

Former Minister Danam Nagender today announced that the Telangana Congress would organize a rally from Charminar to Abids on January 5, to protest against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decision to demonetize the two high-value currency bills, and its aftermath.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Nagender said that the Prime Minister was gambling with the lives of the people with his rash and totalitarian decision.

He also expressed confusion over Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao defending the Prime Minister Modi's note ban. He questioned the Chief Minister on his "U-turn".
