Congress Ridicules KTR's Enthusiasm For Amaravathi
The party slammed the Telangana minister for evincing keen interest in attending the Amaravathi foundation-laying ceremony even before getting an invite.
Nalgonda MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy has slammed Panchayat Raj Minister K Taraka Rama Rao for evincing keen interest in attending the Amaravathi foundation-laying ceremony even before getting an invitation.
He ridiculed KTR, who had lashed out at Chandrababu Naidu till yesterday, for eagerly waiting be invited to attend the ceremony.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan on Sunday, Gutha demanded that KTR explain the silence by his government in the Revanth Reddy note-for-vote case.
Also finding fault with KTR's remarks on Congress leaders, Gutha said that the power-drunk KTR was irreverently belittling TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy and CLP leader K Jana Reddy.
"On the one hand Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was praising CLP leader K Jana Reddy, but on the other KTR was leveling baseless allegations against Jana Reddy," he alleged.
He warned KTR to mend his ways.
It may be recalled that KTR had reiterated his allegations against Jana Reddy at the Nalgonda meeting on Saturday. KTR had also dubbed Uttam Kumar Reddy as "Uttara Kumar Reddy" who indulged in corruption.
