YSR Congress party MLA Bhuma Karunakar Reddy alleged that both the ruling Congress and the main opposition Telugu Desam Party have resorted to match fixing to adjourn the House frequently.
Talking to reporters at Assembly media point, the Tirupati MLA accused the Congress party of conspiring with the TDP in avoiding giving replies on public issues. Though all the parties had agreed to discuss the power issue in the Business Advisory Committee meeting, however, he said that the TDP stalled the proceedings by staging protests in front of the podium of the Speaker Nadendla Manohar.
Lamenting that one day of a five-day Assembly session was wasted, he asked the legislators of all parties to cooperate with the Assembly Speaker in running the House smoothly for the remaining days. Responding to YSRCP's stand on the Telangana issue, he said that the party stands by its resolution made in the plenary session. (INN)
