Congress Planning To Kill KTR, Harish: R S Praveen

BRS leader R S Praveen Kumar today accused the ruling Congress in Telangana of indulging in violence and intimidation against the opposition parties.

He alleged that Congress leaders and workers were resorting to "goondaism" and even issuing death threats.

"It's not just about attacks on opposition leaders. Ruling party leaders are openly declaring they won't hesitate to kill if necessary," Kumar claimed on his official X handle.

Kumar went on to criticize the state of law and order under the Congress rule, asserting that Telangana had become a State of threats. He specifically targeted Congress leader Mynampally Hanumantha Rao, accusing him of using incendiary language. "He is reportedly preparing 500 party workers to douse KTR with petrol, and another 500 to target Harish Rao. In the end, he's even talking about pouring petrol on himself. Hanumantha Rao is openly saying that if they don't get a chance to kill KTR and Harish Rao in the normal course of events, they will hunt them down and kill them," Kumar alleged.

He condemned every word spoken by Hanumantha Rao as criminal, and asked why the DGP was silent on the matter. "The police should have registered a suo motu case and launched an investigation. We filed a complaint at the Gajwel police station on September 3, but there has been no response," Kumar said.

He further asked whether Revanth Reddy and Hanumantha Rao would be spared from accountability by the police. "If an ordinary citizen made such statements, wouldn't a case be filed immediately?" he asked.
