Congress MLC Takes Bus, BRS MLA Takes Auto, To Come To Assembly

The Telangana Assembly budget session started today. And Congress MLC Balmuri Venkat and BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy reached the legislature in a TSRTC bus and an autorickshaw respectively.

Venkat travelled in a TSRTC bus from Nampally to the Assembly, and interacted with the women passengers in the bus and sought to know their experiences with the free travel for women in TSRTC buses launched by the Congress government.

Kaushik Reddy interacted with auto drivers and asked about their problems after the State government launched free bus travel for women. He said that the auto drivers narrated their tales of woe after the introduction of the scheme. He added that he came to the Assembly in an autorickshaw in protest against the scheme, as it hit the livelihood of three-wheeler drivers.
