Krishna district Congress president N Nagaluri Durga Prasad quit his party and joined the YSR Congress.

Durga Prasad announced his decision in Vijayawada on Sunday, after sending his resignation to the state Congress president Botsa Satyanarayana. His joining will further strengthen the YSRCP in the district.

The TDP had already received a jolt, with Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani deserting the TDP and joining the YSRCP. Kodali Nani is supposed to be a close associate of NTR Jr. (INN)
